Foot Operated Nut Cracker

I developed the foot operated Walnut Cracker to relieve stress on arms, hands and fingers. You can easily produce a lot of force with your leg muscles so this machine is easy to use, and it's much faster because you are free to use both hands to feed nuts into machine. It's so easy that our grandson can even crack walnuts!

There are 2 positions on the jaws. The bottom larger depression is used for whole walnuts.

The smaller depression on the top of jaw is used for small nuts or to recrack some halves that did not crack completely

Machine should be mounted on a solid table 36” above floor.

Always wear safety glasses.

Alternative Way of Mounting Your Nutcracker

This is a alternate way to mount your nutcracker.

You will need a hinge 30” long, “2x4”, or 1”x4” or  whatever you have that is close to those dimensions.

You will need a 2”x4” board 36 inches long to support a 30” board.

Simply screw the hinge to a wall or any stable surface, 36” above floor.

With this type of mounting, it is simple to remove the nutcracker, drop the board
down and not have it in your way.

I like to have my nutcracker handy in case I have a snack attack, I crack a few nuts, instead of eating some junk food.
